Why I Am Serving

I believe the first measure of success is safety — have we protected students getting to school and in the classroom? Have we equipped our older students with opportunities for growth after school, a feeling of belonging, and the tools to live in society? Have we instilled in our younger students “a sense of wonder, connection, and joy”? This must be the first priority.

The second priority is preparing every single child to find their unique place in the world after graduation. This is a challenge because it can be difficult to predict, is always difficult to measure, and is different for each student.

Neither goal can be achieved without the help of parents and the community. I am asking for your community participation in achieving these goals.
