Democrat Mark Boyko, who currently serves on the Kirkwood School District Board of Education, has decided to run for the seat to represent Missouri House District 90.
Boyko also rejects the argument that ERISA lawsuits are disincentivizing 401(k) plans. He notes that 401(k) plans are becoming more, not less, common, and there is no decline in participation.
“Federal court cases take a while and are expensive, so those claims generally end up settling,” said Mark Boyko, a partner at the law firm of Bailey Glasser who specializes in ERISA cases.
